West Ham Make Sturridge Their Prime Target & Neymar Is Resigned To His Manchester United Move.

It is believed Manchester United are prepared to meet Neymar's wage demands this summer as they prepare to break the transfer record yet again.

Neymar has let close friends know that both Manchester United and Chelsea have inquired to know if he would push Barcelona to sell him this summer. Mourinho is said to have been persistent in the pursuit of the 25 year old and is promising to meet the player's salary demands and - if required - buyout his Camp Nou contract. Manchester United also plan to replace the high profile Wayne Rooney with another high profile signing in Antoine Griezmann, this move will see Griezmann and Neymar become the focal point of United's summer targets.

Ibrahimovic's worst career injury which will see him not play again this year has cast doubts over his ability to feature again at the level United will want. Although Barcelona recently handed Neymar a new deal in October but observers see it as a charade intended to patch a conflict between the Brazilian and his employers. According to Barcelona sources Neymar is prepared to escape a situation where Luis Suarez and Leo Messi are considered more important to the club's attacking success to a place where the team will be structured around his ability. Jose Mourinho insists Neymar would not be leaving Barcelona anytime soon. Mourinho who masterminded a failed attempt to bring Neymar to Europe while manager at Real Madrid has explained the idea of bidding for Neymar as "trying to break into a safe - impossible".

Slaven Bilic Hints At Possible Move For Daniel Sturrridge

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic Has made it clear the hammers need a way out upfront as their main striker Andy Carroll is too injury prone, Bilic who is an admirer of Sturridge another injury prone player is prepared to rescue the 27 year old who is now a fringe player at under Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool. Daniel Sturridge hasn't completed 30 games in a single Premier league campaign since 2012. Andy Carroll was expected to recover in time for the hammers' trip to Stoke, but the big striker will not make it in time for the game tomorrow.

5. The Wayne Bridge Show

In 2010 John Terry fell out with his friend and teammate Wayne Bridge over an alleged affair with the latter's girlfriend, Bridge chose not to shake John Terry's hand the next time Man City and Chelsea met. Liverpool Continue Top Four Pursuit As They Travel To The Hawthorns

Liverpool visit West Bromwich Albion and look to further solidify their place in the top four, a victory away to Stoke City was the first time they won in the league this season without Sadio Mane, the reds will be looking to be of a similar behaviour today as they take on a West Brom team that has failed to score in five of their last six league matches.

The Baggies have a full strength squad ahead of the clash, meanwhile Liverpool Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana are still out for the Reds. This is a tricky time of the season for West Brom as they have 'nothing serious' to play for, they are already safe from relegation by far but cannot exactly challenge for Europe, maybe looking to better their best ever finish will be a motivating factor.

Match Facts

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last seven league meetings with West Brom (W3 D4).
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last six League games, gathering 14 points in the process.
West Brom have gained 4 points out of the last possible 18.
West Brom however have not lost to Liverpool at home since October 2011.
Philippe Coutinho has scored in the last three premier games.

Matchday Preview : Unbeaten Run Extension? OR Will Lightening Strike A Third Time For Chelsea?

Manchester United Walk Into Today's Game Starring At The Possibility Of Being Beaten For A Third Time In A Single Season By Chelsea.

David De Gea is back for United After missing back-to-back games, Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young are also In Contention. Chelsea meanwhile have a full strength team to call on. This is the standout game of the weekend and there are vast analysis as to where the game can or will be won. In the previous two meetings between these two teams N'golo Kante heaped more infamy on Paul Pogba's transfer fee by owning the midfield and even scoring in both ties (his only goals this season).

Manchester United beat Chelsea last in the league back in October 2012 (3-2), Juan Mata and Ramires got the goals for Chelsea, whereas Robin Van Persie's brace and  Chicharito's late goal handed United victory in an ill tempered encounter, but it has been six years United beat the blues on home soil, in September 2011 where Fernando Torres' historic miss will forever remain in Chelsea's mind.

The last time United beat Chelsea they had to rely on a Van Persie Brace

Manchester United on the other hand are not fond of losing thrice to a single team in the course of a season. Another reason this will make for an interesting encounter is the fact that a victory for United will throw the title race wide open, though it seems a two horse race now but Tottenham will be looking to correct the mistakes of last year when they imploded, or maybe it's Chelsea's turn to implode?

Ziccifoot Prediction :1-1

Newcastle Suffer Promotion Setback After Conceding Late Goal

Jamal Lascelles' 67th minute goal was not enough to give the hosts the required three points in the SkyBet Championship game at St.James' park on Friday evening. Brighton Hove Albion who are on top of the log now have the advantage as they secured victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers. The top two automatically go through to the Premier league and Newcastle who are second have an eight point cushion (85)  over third placed Huddersfield (77) but a victory today would have made that margin 10 and keep them just two points behind Brighton with four points to go.

Newcastle must have been left licking their wounds when Leeds equalised in the 95th minute through Chris Wood. This is the first time Rafa Benitez is failing to beat Leeds after previously beating the whites three times at Liverpool, Chelsea and earlier this season with Newcastle.

The Geordies aim to win back Premier league promotion at first attempt as the did in 2009, and they to the Pirelli stadium on Monday to face Ipswich town.

Chelsea Legend Didier Drogba Reveals How N'golo Kante Manages To Escape Bookings

In form Chelsea midfielder has been a driving force in the heart of the Chelsea midfield in Antonio Conte's debut season and Chelsea legend drogba reveals how the diminutive tackler manages to escape cards despite being involved in a number of challenges in a game.

Drogba insists it's amazing to watch Kante in action, but suggested the Frenchman has a trick or two up his sleeves to ensure he goes unpunished through games. Drogba who won four league titles with the blues told Daily Mirror that Kante reminds him of former Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele.

"When he makes fouls, he smiles at you and you can't even give him a yellow card. He's really smart."

The Ivorien also threw his weight behind Spanish striker Diego Costa and backed him to rediscover his goal scoring touch after netting just three times this year.

"Before he would be so frustrated not to score, now he's growing like every player, he's improving, he knows the league better, he knows the players and the referees."

Diego Costa will be looking to end his goal drought against Manchester United as the blues travel to Old Trafford on Easter Sunday.

Ranked : The 5 'Worst' Draws Suffered By Manchester United This Season

In the wake of Man United's agonising draw in Belgium after conceding a late goal from Anderlecht's only shot on target, ziccifoot chronicles the most painful defeats in a not so special season for the self-acclaimed special one and his red army.

There has been some draws where Manchester United were just lucky to get away with a point but these are the top 5 where the Red Devils were left ruing missed chances.

5. Manchester United 1 - 1 Arsenal 19/11/16

Manchester United took authority from the first whistle as they faced Mourinho's eternal enemy, Juan Mata's goal in the 68th minute appeared to be enough to seal all three point until an unmarked Olivier Giroud rose highest to head home Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's cross in the 89th minute to make it 1-1.

4 Manchester United 1 - 1 Stoke City 02/10/16

In a game where United could have been 3-0 up by half-time but it never happened due to continually missed chances from from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba, Manchester United finally took a deserved lead in the second half through substitute Anthony Martial, only for a mix up in United's defence to hand Stoke a leveller in the 82nd minute through a Joe Allen goal.

3. Manchester United 0 - 0 Burnley 29/10/16

Burnley had their goalkeeper Tom Heaton to thank at the end of this game for Manchester United had 38 shots (11 of them on target) but the England International managed to keep Ibrahimovic and Co. at bay as the clarets left Old Traford with a precious point.

2. Everton 1 - 1 Manchester United 04/12/16

If Manchester United miss out on top 4 position by a point or two this will be the game they will eternally look back on whenever they think about the 2016/17 season. Ibrahimovic's goal on the stroke of half-time seemed to be the difference until Marouane Fellaini fouled Idrissa Gueye in the box to hand Everton an 89th minute penalty.

1. Anderlecht 1-1 Manchester United 13/04/17

Manchester United's march towards the Europa league crown took a major hit on Thursday evening after they surrendered a 1-0 lead in the 86th minute. Mkhitaryan's early strike wasn't enough to hand the visitors an away win and at this point it is anybody's tie, a tragedy considering the fact that the Europa league might just be United's only possible route to the Champions league next season.
