At 31 David Silva has been a shinning light in a season where Man City have underachieved and underperformed. Gareth McAuley have been the bedrock of West Brom's back line this season and they're on course for their best ever finish in the Premier League. The 37 year old defender is joint top scorer for West Brom along with Salomon Rondon. Eight games remain in the league and it is safe to say it can only get better for the Nothern Irishman.

Jurgen Klopp has had to rely on Liverpool's deputy captain to fill in at left back with Alberto Moreno disappointing and Jon Flanagan out on loan, and the 31 year old has executed the task with finesse. Even though the Englishman is naturally right footed he wasted no time is settling down in the position and made it his own. He has six goals in the league this campaign and shows no sign of slowing down.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is known for being in many lists and it seemed a huge challenge when he decided to move to a league as tough as England's in the twilight of his career when others would opt for a move to the US or China, Zlatan kicked off with an acrobatic goal for Manchester United.
