Plan B? : Guess Who Is In Line To Replace Conte

Fresh facts have emerged that English champions Chelsea are lining up a shock bid for Ex Barcelona manager Luis Enrique. The Spaniard won the Spanish Cup in his last season with the Blaugrana and opted to go on a Sabbatical but the blues are planning to tempt him out of that.

Antonio Conte has remained a frustrated figure at Chelsea following The Champions' lack of desire in the transfer market, and this has unsettled the Italian at Stamford Bridge. The Italian's public spat with star striker Diego Costa has not helped the relationship between club and manager.

Chelsea appear not to be willing to make 'wholesale' changes to their team which the 47 year old has been insisting on , therefore the club have been forced to start making arrangements in the event that their title winning manager leaves.

Daily Telegraph reports that Luis Enrique will be the favoured successor if Conte decides to leave the West London club, although Borrussia Dortmund's former manager Thomas Tuchel has also been identified as a possible replacement.

Although Chelsea are confident about keeping their manager, reports suggest Antonio is 'nowhere' near renewing his contract despite being offered a new generous offer.

Luis Enrique was a back-to-back hit in his three year spell (2014-2017) as Barcelona's manager, winning at least a trophy each season but was hardly accepted by the Barcelona faithful due to a change of play style. The Guardiola era was marked with high possession game whereas Enrique opted for a more direct approach with Luis Suarez, Neymar and Leo Messi making up an attacking trio which was nicknamed the msn.
