Bayern Munich Part Ways With Carlo Ancelotti After PSG Rout

Bayern Munich's manager Carlo Ancelotti has parted ways with the Bavarian club, the Italian's dismissal is directly connected to Bayern's indifferent displays of late. The German Champions were humiliated in Paris yesterday and Ancelotti left the club less than 15 hours later.

Reports emerged from German media on Thursday that the Bundesliga giants will hold a crisis talk with Ancelotti to address the club's indifferent start to the season, with the manager's job on the line. The club has decided the Italian is no longer the right man to move to manage the club.

Bayern Munich endured their highest group stage defeat since 1996 in Paris last night as goals from Dani Alves, Edinson Cavani and Neymar helped the Parisiens run riot against their more illustrious European opponents.

The former AC Milan manager also oversaw a 2-0 lead slip against Wolfsburg Friday, but the 3-0 drubbing in France was the final nail. Willy Sagnol who was brought in during the summer as assistant will take temporary charge and will be in the dugout when visit Hertha Berlin on Sunday.

Louis Van Gaal who was present in Paris last night is an early contender as early replacement for Ancelotti and Metro reports that Bayern could offer the Dutchman who helped build the Bavarian club into a solid side a short term deal.

Hoffenheim's 30 Year Old Manager Julian Nagelsmann Is Believed To Be Bayern's Prime Target

Thomas Tuchel who left Dortmund at the end of last season is also in contention for the job, but it is Hoffenheim's 30 year old boss Nagelsmann who is a prime target for Bayern Munich. Hoffenheim are currently second on the Bundesliga table, one place above Bayern Munich.
