French winger Thomas Lemar was subject to multiple bids from both Arsenal and Liverpool, the transfer saga surrounding Lemar's club future came to a head when Mr.Wenger made a failed last gasp bid of £92 million on deadline day to secure the 21 year old's services.
Lemar and Monaco has since moved on from the events of the summer and are have a decent season in the France's Ligue 1 but in their second game of the Champions league against FC Porto on Tuesday evening the visitors twisted the plot as they thrashed the French Champions in France.
Arsenal fans who are still burnt from Lemar's rejection to join them descended on the young attacker on twitter. The winger who was being a team player by putting some defensive work was turned inside out by FC Porto's Yancine Brahimi and BOOM!!! Twitter erupted.
