Revealed : What's That Badge Mark?

In The game against Manchester United in the Stoke 365 Stadium Stoke City's Welsh manager Mark Hughes wore a strange badge on his jacket. It's been revealed by Stoke Sentinel that the badge worn by the Stoke City handler is for the campaign for Stoke-on-Trent to become UK's City of Culture in 2021.

As a show of support for the bid Hughes who wears a badge on his hapel to support most charities during weekends opted to wear this, for a City of Culture bid.

This is not the first time Mr.Hughes is supporting a cause in this manner.

Mark Hughes has worn the prostrate cancer UK's Man Of Men badge.

He also wore the 'KickItOut' Badge to support the Charity foundation tackling racism in football

Hughes said: "As a football manager you prepare for every possible scenario, but seeing the stats about prostrate cancer took me and it's something that cannot be ignored. So it's really important we all take a stand against it

"The thought that two men die of this disease in the duration of every football match, and that fact that 330,000 will be affected by this disease per year - 12 times the capacity of our ground - really brings it home. And it's not just affected, it's families too and loved ones.

"Stoke City have worked closely with Prostrate cancer UK in recent years and I'll continue to sport their Man of Men pin badge to show my support. I know many of my contemporaries will too.

"If you have that knowledge and that understanding of potential pitfalls in the future, and you understand what the badge represents, and what it's reminding you about - about a real threat and a real dilemma, and a cancer that can be fatal - then that can only be a good thing."

Mark Hughes is among over 25 managers to show support for the disease (cancer).

Big Ups Mark!!!
