French Club Paris Saint Germain shocked the football when they paid Barcelona £198million for the services of Brazilian forward Neymar.Jr and now the same footballer claims his new employers are better placed to win Europe's elite competition according to Mirror.
The French club was not satisfied with having just Neymar they added teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe to their payroll, however the former Barca star Neymar believes PSG have a better chance of winning the Champions league than Barcelona.
"One of my biggest reasons for joining PSG was to help write the club's history Neymar told The Sun
"The Champions League is not the only trophy we want to win - but it is a very important trophy.
"The aim of the season is to try and win it - that's the level the club are now. I do believe we are capable of winning the Tournament.
"Not only do we have the quality but we have the experience - the players who know what it takes to win the Champions League."
PSG have a lethal attacking trio in Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani
Neymar won 8 trophies at the Camp Nou across four seasons including the Champions League in 2015. The no.10 is billed to start PSG's Champions League opener against Celtic in Scotland.Neymar has managed four goals in three games for PSG this season.
