Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho has finally spoken out after Barcelona's move for him did not materialize while the transfer window was still open. The 25 year old Brazilian was courted by Spanish club Barcelona right till the close of the transfer window but Liverpool wouldn't sell even for a fee of £100 million.
Coutinho started his first League game on Saturday against Burnley after being ruled out of the beginning of the season with a back problem and the former Inter Milan player insists he is fully committed to Jurgen Klopp's side.
"I was interested in the offer but now my focus is on having a good season with Liverpool and with the National team
It's an honour to receive an offer from this club (Barcelona) but it is also an honour playing for Liverpool, I've always respected the club and the supporters." Coutinho told ESPN Brasil.
