Rumour Has It : Neymar's Apology
According to reports from The Sun, World football's record signing Neymar has apologized to Edinson Cavani and the rest of the PSG squad for his penalty row with the striker in their 2-0 victory over Lyon during the weekend.
The two attackers went head-to-head for a penalty which Cavani eventually took and missed. The days following the feud have seen media reports suggesting Neymar has ordered the PSG Board to sack Cavani but that was not before he unfollowed the Uruguayan on Instagram.
Dani Alves who was at the heart of the brawl when he handed Neymar the ball to take the penalty ahead of Edinson has reportedly taken both parties out on a dinner and have them bury the hatchet. The veteran right back reportedly brought the two for a clear the air talks.
Neymar subsequently apologized to the group on in training and his words were translated by club captain Thiago Silva.
Pictures of Neymar and Cavani playing together and helping each other in training suggests that all bad blood between the two players.
PSG's next test is at Montpellier on Saturday.
