England Thrash Scotland
England thrashed neighbours scotland to remain top of group F of Europe's World Cup qualifying group. The much talked about game had drawn alot of attention, from the puppy armband to the age old rivalry, but on the night it was Gareth Southgate's men who took a step further to World Cup qualification. Sturridge put the hosts ahead after decisively meeting Kyle Walker's cross, just after half time Danny Rose and Lallana combined in similar fashion for England's second, something that must delight both Klopp and Pochettino.
Gary Cahill's goal in the 61st minute sealed the visitor's fate. a flattering scoreline but no one in white shirt was complaining after the game.
England host Spain in a friendly on Wednesday and will be looking to continue their rehabilitation process after the Euros and the Sam Allardyce drama.
