Italian league leaders Juventus are weighing up a January move for Branislav Ivanovic. Juventus are looking to provide cover for injured Leonardo Bonucci who is out for two months and Dani Alves who is also out with a broken leg.
Juventus have a host of their backline unavailable with Andrea Barzagli also injured and Mehdi Benatia travelling with Morocco to Gabon for AFCON in early 2017.
Juventus believe the long serving Chelsea defender will be perfectly fitted for life in the Seria A and think he won't be exposed for lack of pace due to the way the team plays.
Ivanovic has made 15 appearances for Chelsea this term but last started a league game in the 3-0 loss to Arsenal.
Juventus are also continuing the pursuit for Everton frontman Romelu Lukaku as a long term replacement for Mario Mandzukic whom they expect to lose next summer.
