Rafa Benitez Makes Leicester City Defender His Prime Target

According to The Sun Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez has made Leicester city's title winning captain Wes Morgan his prime target as the Geordies head back to the big league after one season down, the report claims the Spaniard needs more experience at the back and will try to convince the 33 year old Jamaican to swap The King Power Stadium for St.James' park. It was just last year Morgan signed a three-year contract extension but Newcastle were vulnerable at the back in the Championship despite leapfrogging Brighton Hove Albion to be crowned champions on the final day.

And Arsene Wenger Finally Confirms He's Going Nowhere

Arsenal's long suffering manager Mr.Wenger has dismissed rumours of a resignation and is targeting a £55m spending spree in the summer which has Riyadh Mahrez on the list, this is according to The Express . The Gunners will face stiff competition from PSG who attempted but failed to sign Mahrez last summer, also on Wenger's list is Boro player Gibson who is also a target for Chelsea and Liverpool. The Seasiders' relegation from the league might prompt thme to sell their best players and Gibson could be on his way to The Emirates Stadium. The report suggests Arsenal and Arsene Wenger are targeting a striker, winger, central defender, left back and a goal keeper.

Chelsea To Make Conte Their Highest Ever Paid Manager

The Guardian reports that Chelsea are prepared to make Antonio Conte the highest paid manager in the club's history, there two reasons for this and the first is obviously for a job well done, Conte literally brought Chelsea back to life, then the second and more serious reason is to ward off advances from Inter Milan. The Inter Milan management recently sacked their manager Stefan Pioli and Conte has largely been fingered as a replacement. The Italian who is on a lower salary than Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger, Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola clearly outdid those managers in the league this season, the new contract will be more than the £7.5m-a-year deal Roman Abramovich agreed with Jose Mourinho in the summer of 2015
