Victor Moses Dusts Himself Up After FA Cup Disappointment
Chelsea were overwhelming favourites to win the FA Cup final game against Arsenal and complete a double for the 2016/17 season, but Arsene Wenger and his troops hadn't read the scripts heading into the game as Chelsea were behind inside five minutes.
Things got worse in the second half when Victor Moses were sent to early showers after a red card, this was a breakthrough campaign for the Nigerian attacker who had finally forced his way into he Chelsea 11 after being loaned out previously to Stoke City, Liverpool and West Ham. Moses had already been booked for a dive before getting sent off in the 68th minute.
The Chelsea wingback who was described as feeling down by Captain John Terry has literally picked himself up to tie the knot with his long term lover.
A red card didn't deter Moses From Tying The Knot 24 hours later.
After repeated loan spells an FA Cup triumph would have been the perfect end to the 26 year old's season.
"He is down but it is important that the group pick him up, naturally he is down and the poor fella has got his wedding tomorrow as well. But he's been excellent all season, so no one's to blame. It is one of them things, It's just disappointing." John Terry said after the game.
