Mourinho Orders £500,000-a-week Wage For Manchester United Target
Manchester United's manager Jose Mourinho is still optimistic about bringing Welshman Gareth Bale back to England and Metro now reports that the Portuguese has ordered 'bosses at Manchester United' to offer Gareth Bale £500,000-a-week in order to make the Old Trafford move.
Bale's future at the Bernabeu is still anyone's guess as Zinedine Zidane has not been explicit about the 28 year old's future but according to Mourinho's theory since Gareth Bale was in the starting line-up in the UEFA Super Cup game it means Zidane has plans for him, but then again there's the 'Kylian Mbappe issue'. Madrid still want the youngster and £100m from the sale of Bale will enable them accomplish that.
Conte Turns His Attention To Barcelona Star
United are still in the hunt for Bale despite his exploits for Zidane and Real Madrid in the Super Cup, and Bale's recruitment will overrule the move for Ivan Perisic. Mourinho is of the opinion that a huge wage offer for Bale will likely lure him to Old Trafford.
Rafael Marquez Sanctioned For Drug Cartel Involvement
The exits of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney, Bastian Schwensteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay has seen United's wage bill drop significantly in the last six months, therefore there's room to accommodate such a huge salary for the ex Tottenham player.
