List : 5 Pairs Of Popular Footballers That Were Born Exactly On The Same Day

The Football World has its fair share of coincidences as far as birthdays are concerned, most footballers the same birthdays, for example Feb 5th is the magic birthdate in World Football today. Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez, Neymar Jr, Adnan Januzaj, Vedran Corluka and some other notable footballers (both retired and still active) were born on that date, but of course not the same year. The list below shows five pairs of player who were born on the same day and played for the same teams.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy / Patrick Kluivert -  01/07/1976

Dutch football legends Van Nistelrooy and Kluivert were born the same day and had one thing in common which was ruthlessness in front of goal. The careers of these two players are two sides of a coin, why? While Patrick Kluivert burst onto the scene during the European championships in England in 1996 aged 20 and carried his country's hopes on his young shoulders, Van Nistelrooy had to wait till his 28th birthday before making an appearance in the Euros. Kluivert's first World Cup was France 1998 while Van Nistelrooy's first World Cup was Germany 2006.

Frank De Boer / Ronald De Boer - 15/08/1970

You could have guessed this one, Dutch twins Frank and Ronald were regulars in the Dutch national team for the better part of the 90s, they were also signed together at Ajax, Rangers and Barcelona. Frank is currently the manager of Crystal Palace

John Obi Mikel / David Luiz - 22/04/1987

John Mikel Obi and David Luiz were born on the same day (don't be skeptical), both players have won a combined Premier League title of three. Mikel was brought to Chelsea in 2006 by Jose Mourinho, meanwhile Mourinho was not overly fond of David Luiz's style of play hence he sold the Brazilian to PSG in 2014 during his second spell at the club.

Rafael Da Silva / Fabio Da Silva - 09/07/1990

The likeable Brazilian Twins Rafael and Fabio were brought to England from Fluminense in 2008 by Sir Alex Ferguson, unfortunately for the brothers they did not fit into the plans of Ferguson's predecessors David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal. Rafael plays for Olympique Lyon now while Fabio is with English club Middlesbrough.

Lars Bender / Sven Bender - 27/04/1989

The Bender brothers are youth products of German club 1860 Munich, they were Silver medalists in the Olympic games in Brazil last year but they are both not regulars in Joachim Low's side and no one can blame them given the quality the Diemannschaft possesses. Lars has been a regular at Bayer Leverkusen since 2009 while Sven just moved to join him at Leverkusen from Borrussia Dortmund recently.
