Conte Snaps At Journalist After Being Quizzed About Chelsea Transfer Activity

Antonio Conte was not pleased with the question about Chelsea's activity in the transfer window after their game against Arsenal. Conte answered questions after the community shield game against Arsenal. The Blues went ahead through Victor Moses who atoned for his red card when the two sides met ten weeks ago in the FA Cup final but Arsenal's new boy Sead Kolasinac drew the Gunners level after Pedro Rodriguez had been sent off, the 1-1 draw meant penalty kicks had to be used ' to separate the fight'

The penalty kicks employed the ABBA style of kicks and it was Olivier Giroud that smashed home the winning penalty, Thibaut Cortouis and record signing Alvaro Morata failed to convert their kicks as Arsenal were 4-1 victors on penalty.

It was a hugely disappointing afternoon for Conte who had to endure a series of decisions against Chelsea, the highlight was when Willian was wrongly booked for diving and Pedro's dismissal. Chelsea have spent big in the transfer window with the additions of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Alvaro Morata and Antonio Rudiger but Conte has always voiced his frustration at the way transfer business has been conducted so far.

Whenever quizzed the Italian has always said the signing of new players rests on the club's hierarchy, so imagine his displeasure when asked about it yet again after just losing a key  match.

"I have always replied to this question. I hope in the future to have different questions, than if there's necessity to improve our squad.

"I have replied, my reply is always (this) one, otherwise it means I was telling you a lie, I repeat always the same." a furious Conte told Journalists after Chelsea's loss to Arsenal.

The Premier League kicks off in five days time and the Italian may want to get his and Chelsea's acts together in the transfer window if they are to avoid the 'Mourinho season'
