Jose Mourinho Claims Neymar's Move To PSG Is Not An Expensive One
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has Neymar.Jr's record breaking move to French giants Paris Saint Germain is not an expensive one, stating that as long as the player is good the transfer is bound to be a success.
Neymar who has just completed a £200m move from Barcelona to PSG is now the world record signing, eclipsing more than twice the amount Manchester United paid Juventus for Paul Pogba a year ago.
The Portuguese tactician however does not feel Neymar is overpriced, speaking to Daily Star Mourinho said "when we paid that amount for Paul(Pogba) I said that he was not expensive. Expensive are the ones that get into a certain level without a certain quality. I think Neymar is going to happen the same."
"I don't think he is expensive for £200m. I think he is expensive for the fact that you are going to have more players of £100m and more players of £80m and more players of £60m"
"I don't think the problem is Neymar it's the consequences after Neymar" he concluded.
