Cristiano Ronaldo Still Wants To Leave Madrid

Fresh reports emanating from Bleacher claims Cristian Ronaldo is still hoping to leave Real Madrid and is searching for a new club, according to journalist Duncan Castles. The journalist claims Ronaldo has not buried the decision of leaving the Bernabeu and of course his move away from the Spanish champions will create space for the likes of Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne in the Los Blancos' attack.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a contract with Real Madrid until 2022 but the club can make use of his transfer fee in funding the purchase of Hazard. The Portuguese captain shutdown rumours of his impending exit in the summer after his tax fraud allegations prompted him to have reportedly seek other clubs outside Spain.

ESPN FC's Dermot Corrigan believes Cristiano Ronaldo just is just pushing for an exit so Real Madrid will increase his net wage of €21m to match Neymar's net of €30m. (are you seeing people?)

Ronaldo has had a stunning career at the Santiago Bernabeu and won't be short of suitors if or when he makes his desire to leave official. PSG, Manchester United and Manchester City are all likely destinations for the 32 year old but the willingness of any of these clubs to spend so much on a player who turns 33 in February is a quite another talking point. PSG are already on the edge as regards the Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules and they also wouldn't want to get on Neymar's nerves by bringing another big star to the club after he managed to sneak out of Leo Messi's 'shadow'.
