Ex Liverpool Rafa Benitez boss could be on his way back to Merseyside, not with Liverpool but with Everton. The Sun reports that if Everton's majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri decides to fire Ronald Koeman after a poor start to the season Benitez will be the employer's first choice to replace the Dutchman.

Reports emerging from Liverpool Echo claim that Anderlecht's Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru has confirmed to have had a meeting with Everton over a possible early return to Merseyside as the striker continued his top form for Anderlecht. The 20 year old is currently on loan at Anderlecht from Everton. Onyekuru was singed in the summer for a fee of around £7m in the summer and quickly sent out on loan to Anderlecht due to UK work permit issues.
