Guess Who's Moving To China

According to dailymail  there is increasing fear among the refereeing hierarchy that top referee Mark Clattenburg will quit the Premier League this year.

It is understood that there is interest for the 41 year old from China and the middle east, the United States might also interest the Englishman.

It is said that Clattenburg is increasingly tired of the level of scrutiny which follows high-profile decisions, the latest of such decisions was the failure to disallow Sanchez's handball goal for Arsenal against Hull City on Saturday.

Clattenburg admitted in December that a move to China was an option.

"If an opportunity came along - I am contracted to the Premier League - But I have to look at my long term strategy of my career. How long can I last as a referee?" he said.

"there is no offer on the table but if they made an offer there would be a consideration." he added.

Mark Clatterburg is famed for making eye popping decisions.

In October 2012 Manchester United fans were seen mocking Chelsea fans after a weekend game where Clattenburg sent off Fernando Torres and Branislav Ivanovic and went on to allow Javier Hernandez's offside goal.

In 2016 Clattenburg's reputation soared as he officiated the FA Cup finals, the UEFA Champons'league finals and European Championships finals.
