Philipp Lahm Announces Retirement ... .They're All Going
Bayern Munich Captain Has Announced That He Will Retire At The End Of The Season.
The Ex German captain announced the decision after Bayern's victory over Wolfsburg on Tuesday night, Lahm captained Germany to World Cup glory in 2014 and announced his retirement from International duty after the tournament.
"I can continue my leadership style, giving my best everyday, in every training, until the end of the season. I can keep doing it this season but not beyond." Lahm said.
Lahm has a contract with the Bavarian club till 2018 but will be quitting after this season (a year earlier).
The 33 year old who has never been sent off in his career made his debut for Bayern in 2002 and has gone on to win 6 German cups, 7 German titles and the Champions league title.
