Chelsea Still Want Swansea Striker
According to Daily Star Chelsea are still in the market for a striker as they intend to provide cover and back-up for their record signing Alvaro Morata, Antonio Conte has been a long term admirer of Swansea's Spanish Striker Fernando Llorente and has not taken the foot off the pedal in his pursuit of the 32 year old.
Chelsea initially contacted Swansea in January but the Swans refused to sell as they were yoked with a relegation fight, seven months later and Premier League safety since confirmed the Swansea board are now willing to cash in on their 32 year old striker who nodded Paul Clement's Swansea to safety with 8 headed goals and managed 15 Premier League goals in 33 games.
Llorente who played under Conte while he latter was still Juventus manager has a price tag of £30m on him but after spending so much on Morata, the English Champions are unlikely to meet such a price tag for a 32 year old. Chelsea are holding out for £15m, but things may change if they manage to sell Nemanja Matic (£50m) and Diego Costa (£44m).
