Premier League Club Wants Theo Walcott For £30m
It has been a 'crazy' period of transfers and Everton have been in buoyant mood this transfer window and their spending habits are far from coming to an end as they are considering a £30m bid to tempt Theo Walcott away from the Emirates stadium.
After missing out on Olivier Giroud who might be on his way to Borrussia Dortmund, Everton boss Ronald Koeman is prepared to test Arenal's resolve with a surprise bid for 27 year old Theo Walcott. Wayne Rooney, David Klaassen, Jordan pickford and Michael Keane have already joined the Toffees but Everton intend to wrap up two more big signings before the end of the window and Walcott is said to be one of the targets.
Everton who are also chasing Gylfi Sigurdsson are being put away by an asking price of over £45m, it seems they might actually make a bargain by signing Walcott instead and at a lower price.
According to The Mirror Ronald Koeman is desperate to replace winger Yannick Bolasie who is out for a long period and an experienced winger like Walcott could fill the void.
Controversy has often shrouded Theo Walcott's best position, being better as a striker or as a winger, in recent seasons the England International has figured as both in Arsenal's frontline but is not exactly a first choice attacker for Arsene Wenger, so Everton actually stand a decent chance of signing the former Southampton player.
