West Ham striker Enner Valencia has joined Mexican club Tigres UANL for a fee in the region of £7m. The deal was agreed between the two clubs over the weekend and the 27 year old has since undergone a medical.
Valencia joined London club West Ham in 2014 after an impressive displays for Pachuca was followed up with a decent showing for Ecuador at the World Cup in Brazil. Valencia can now begin training with his new teammates.
Valencia's sojourn in England ultimately didn't live up to the high billing as injuries hampered his consistency, there were flashes of brilliance that were few and far between. After 72 appearances for the Hammers, Valencia spent last season on loan at Everton where he made 23 appearances and scored three times.
