Arsenal have reached a verbal agreement with Massimiliano Allegri to replace Arsene Wenger this summer, reports say.
The reports claim that the Italian has been in talks with the London clubs all year and will be prepared to replace the French man 'if ' he doesn't sign the two year contract tabled before him by Arsenal and steps down this summer. The managerial issues in Arsenal will be sorted out before the end of the month according to the Arsenal hierarchy.
On Saturday Allegri affirmed his stay with the Bianconeri beyond this season was an uncertainty.
Arsenal last won the league 13 years ago, they lost 5-1 to Bayern Munich in the first leg of their second round Champions league tie and many within and outside the club believe the performance against Liverpool on Saturday was their last straw for Mr.Wenger.
