Five Fixtures To Look Out For In The Month Of April

Well April is gonna be lit with fixtures left and right you might have your pick, but here are suggestions from Ziccifoot.

5. Liverpool v Everton 01/04/2017

The merseyside derby kicks off an action packed April on April fool's day but there will be no fooling around on a day Both teams know that European football is still within their reach. Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League but have Manchester United breathing down their necks, while Everton will believe a top 6 finish is still a reality, Mane's 90th minute goal helped Liverpool edge Everton at Goodison Park in December.

4. Chelsea - Manchester City 05/04/2017

Manchester City will have a busy April and this is the first of  their two fixtures on this list, the citizens travel to Stamford bridge three days after visiting The Emirates stadium, It will make for an interesting encounter as Chelsea thrashed City 3-1 in Manchester as they completed a 13-game winning run, it will be interesting to see whether Guardiola's men can halt Conte's charges in their stride. We are also not forgetting the possibility of these two meeting in the FA Cup final.

3. Atletico Madrid - Leicester City 12/04/2017

English champions and England's remaining representative in the champions league travel to the dreaded Vincente Calderon to face 2016 finalists Atletico Madrid, their second Spanish opposition in the competition, not many have given Leicester City a chance but then again we all know they're capable of going against the odds, Atletico Madrid themselves  were underdogs in the shape of Leicester not too long ago until repeated hardwork paid off. We will all be watching to see what will become of the English champions.

2. Manchester United - Manchester City 27/04/2017

The two Manchester giants have already met twice this season with victory for each side, though this is an outstanding game, the timing is of great importance as there might be struggle for top four finish and the talk of pride between the two managers never ever goes away.

1. Real Madrid - Barcelona 23/04/2017

No fixture rivals the El Classico, It will be a very tough month for the Los Blancos as they also face Bayern Munuch (twice) and Atletico Madrid too, the 11 time European champions look thirsty for domestic success once again and would be looking to get a tighter grip on the title by making a statement with this game. A late Sergio Ramos header stole one point for Real Madrid in the reverse fixture. It's never a bad day to watch an El Classico.
