Barcelona Lose At 'A Coruna' , Are They Back To Bad Habits??
Luis Enrique made some changes to the gallant eleven that beat PSG, but those changes haunted the catalans as they suffered a major setback in their title push.
Enrique continued with a 3-4-3 defence and used Jordi Alba as a left centre back as Samuel Umtiti was rested. The Catalan club have never lost in the league whenever the French defender played.
Barcelona conceded two 'preventable' goals in either half in a lacklustre defending, Neymar was also missing in a game where Barca never looked like winning.
The ever dependable Luis Suarez pulled a goal back for the Blaugrana in the first minute of the second half after Joselu's 40th minute strike.
There are suggestions in the media that this was a hangover from the great victory on Wednesday night because the Barcelona players never left first gear in a game against Deportivo after their exploits against one of Europe's top teams four days ago.
For manager Enrique this is an eye opener about his squad depths. Barcelona are still one point above Real Madrid who have two games in hand.
