Breaking: Aitor Karanka Has Run Out Of Time At Middlesbrough.. . They've Sacked Him
Middlesbrough has sacked their manager Aitor Karanka, the former Real Madrid assistant manager guided Boro to promotion in the 2015/16 season.
Three months without a win found Karanka's Middlesbrough languishing in 19th place in the table, a situation not good a enough for their chairman Steve Gibson. It was suggested and widely believed Sunday's home game against Manchester United would be a make or break game but the Boro board appears to have run out of patience with the Spaniard.
Middlebrough have scored 19 goals this season and are the lowest scorers in the league. Assistant Manager Steve Agnew will take temporary charge with immediate effect.
