Manchester United legend Paul Scholes believes French club Lyon is the only team remaining in the Europa League that can prevent Manchester United from winning the trophy. Manchester United face Anderlecht in their quarter final fixture in a fortnight, the other teams remaining in the competition are Celta Vigo, Ajax, Schalke, Lyon, Genk and Besikas.
Manchester United's top four finish is uncertain but winning the Europa league will be an optional route to next year's Champions league but Paul Scholes feels the Ligue 1 side can cause Mourinho's men trouble.
Scholes told Omnisport. "It's a great chance for them, they are obviously the biggest team left in the competition. They are favourites and rightly so."
"If they perform anything (like they can ) they have got a great chance of winning, I think Lyon are maybe the obvious contenders to United but apart from that I don't see too many problems for the in that competition."
