Eric Bailly Starts At Right Back At Middlesbrough And Is Having Confusing Game
Manchester United's starting line up at the Riverside has left both the fans and the players themselves confused. Jose Mourinho named Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Eric Bailly in the starting line up but NO! it's not a 3-4-3 formation and Bailly is the right back.
It was believed Antonio Valencia will be the wing back on the right but he's actually the right midfielder. Bailly immediately looked confused about his position and so did those watching. Timothy Fosu-Mensah is on the bench and can play that position and Ashley Young could also be utilised on the right.
The scrambled positions don't seem to deter Manchester United who are 2-0 to the good after 65 minutes.
