In front of a sparse crowd in Oyem, Herve Renard's Morocco came from a goal down to beat Togo 3-1.
Mathieu Dossevi had given Togo the lead after 5 minutes but before the half hour mark the North African's were already in front through Bouhaddouz and Saiss. Emmanuel Adebayor went close twice but was denied by the Moroccan keeper.
En-Nesyri the smashed in in the 72nd minute to seal all three points for the Atlas Lions. The result now Togo must now beat DR Congo on Tuesday to keep their qualification hopes alive.
Elsewhere in the group it was also a day of comebacks as defending champions Ivory Coast came from behind twice to snatch a draw
Neeskens Kebano put DR Congo in front after nine minutes , but Wilfred Bony equalised with a powerful header in the 26th minute, only for DR Congo to regain the lead two minutes later, but the Ivoriens salvaged a point when Serey Die rifled in from 20 yards out. Substitute Salomon Kalou thought he had won it for Ivory Coast in the closing stages but his goal was correctly ruled offside.
The Champions Ivory Coast run the risk of exiting the competition after 2 points from 2 games and must now beat Morocco on Tuesday.
