Memphis Depay has joined French club Lyon from Manchester United and the transfer fee is in the region of £16m. Manchester United also agreed buy back and sell on clauses.
After his £25m move from PSV many tipped Depay for greatness at and with Man United, but the 22 year old only managed 7 goals in 53 appearances.
Depay has made 8 appearances under Jose Mourinho, the last of those coming in November. Mourinho has put that down to competition at Old Trafford.
Depay has been handed the No.9 shirt at Lyon and is keen to show the world what he is capable of.
"I did it in the past and didnt't show it everytime at Manchester, I want to score goals and get that feeling back again." He said
He becomes the latest high profile van gaal signing sold out after the departures of Angel Di Maria and Morgan Schneiderlin.
