Memphis Depay recently joined Lyon from Manchester United after failing to make any form of impact with the Old Trafford side, and Ruud Gullit feels French midfielder Paul Pogba is on a similar route if he does not focus on his football.
Pogba who joined United for a record fee last summer is yet to reach the heights that prompted his acquisition from Juventus and has been consistently criticised by fans.
Ruud Gullit believes the player's fancy haircuts and twitter emoji are overshadowing his displays on the field.
" Paul Pogba is going through the same thing at Manchester United as Memphis Depay," he said according to the mirror
" He may be the most expensive player but that doesn't count if he is spending more time on his dress style, the colours of his hair and social media."
"Even for the biggest football stars in the world there's a big rule: playing well for your club comes first, don't let the other stuff catch the limelight. That is my advice." Gullit said.
