FIFA Best Player Is Cristiano
The Inaugural FIFA Best Player awards was held last night in Zurich, Switzerland. Real Madrid and Portugal frontman Cristiano Ronaldo won the maiden edition of this award, beating rival Lionel Messi and Antoinne Griezmann.
Ronaldo, 31, who was in the team that became European champions for both country (Portugal) and at club level (Real Madrid) had picked up the Ballon d'or award in December.
To clarify the double awards this, is the situation of things, for the past six years the world's best player has received the Fifa Ballon d'or award and collaboration with French fotball magazine but last year the world football's governing body introduced the Best Fifa Football Awards with Ronaldo the first recipient of the main prize
